At 0011 hours this morning, CFRS received a call reporting a fire in a domestic property.

Two appliances from St Austell attended and found a fire in a fuse box. The box was located in the kitchen of a two storey property measuring approximately five metres by ten metres. Firefighters wearing four breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one CO2 extinguisher to put out the fire. Crews then cut away part of the wall to ensure the fire hadn't spread and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to remove smoke from the building. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental/
