On receipt of this call, two appliances from Liskeard and an appliance from Callington were mobilised, on arrival crews found a house measuring three metres by four metres heavily smokelogged, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building with a high pressure hosereel jet, the fire involved a rayburn, after the fire was extinguished the property was allowed to ventilate naturally, crews were detained for a short period cutting away and damping down hot spots. The cause was accidental.
