One appliance from Bodmin attended a report of a motorcycle on fire on the footpath at the bottom of Bawden Road. Firefighters used one hosereel but the motorcycle was completely destroyed by the fire. It is believed to have been started deliberately and Devon and Cornwall Police were also on scene.
