At 1800 this evening Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service received a call to a property filled with smoke. Two crews from Lostwithiel and one from Polruan attended the incident. On arrival the crews found a two storey house heavily smoke logged. On gaining entry they found a cardboard box burnign on top of an electric hob. The crews wore breathing apparatus and used a hosereel to extinguish the fire. There is no further information on this incident.
