At 07:55 Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called to a restaurant in Porthleven, where there were reports of an alarm sounding and smoke seen in the property. Nine firefighters from Helston were mobilised to the scene. Upon arrival crews found a small kitchen fire which had been extinguished and the property to be smoke logged. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilator to clear the smoke. Crews determined that the fire was accidental and confined. These are the full and final details.
