One fire appliance from Helston Community Fire Station attended a report of a fire in a field, seen from a distance.
On arrival the fire crew found a car well alight in a field. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire.
Arson is suspected and the Police have been informed.
