At 2117 this evening Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called to a kitchen fire in Redruth. Two crews were mobilised, one from Redruth and one from Camborne. On arrival crews found the fire to be out and made sure that all was safe by using a fire extinguisher. Crews then used the positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property. There are no further details on this incident.
