At 07:35 two appliances with a total of eleven crew from Newquay attended a call to smoke and sparks coming from an electrical fuse box. On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in an electrical fuse box and used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and two carbon dioxide fire extinguisher. At 08:17 the fire was confirmed out and the building had been checked to ensure it was clear. Crews requested the attendance of electricity engineers to make the scene safe.
