Fuse Box Fire

Crofty Close, Pool, Redruth at 26/12/2014 23:41

Two crews from Camborne Fire Station attended a house in Pool this evening, following a call to Fire Control that there was smoke and a smell of burning coming out of the occupant's fuse box there.

On crews' arrival there was no actual sign of fire so they used a thermal imaging camera to inspect it further.

This indicated that there had been a small fire in the electrical board, now out, and crews isolated the Economy 7 supply and left the property in the hands of Western Power.

The fire was accidental and confined.

This is all the information that Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service have on this incident.
