Two fire appliances from St Austell Community Fire Station were mobilised following a report of a fire in a kitchen. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly extinguished the fire that involved an oven glove that had been left on a hob. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke from the property.
