Six firefighters in one appliance from Delabole and five in a Rescue Tender from Bodmin were mobilised to a single vehicle road traffic collision on the B3266 near Helsbury. Initial reports suggested that the vehicle was on its roof, on crew’s arrival the vehicle was on its wheels. One casualty was in the car and crews administered first aid to the person whilst the vehicle was made safe. Once Ambulance was on scene Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to create space in the vehicle to allow the Paramedics to extricate the casualty on to a stretcher. Once the casualty was out of the vehicle crews worked to make the scene safe.
