Draynes Valley, Liskeard at 03/01/2015 11:26
On receipt of this call from a person stuck in a vehicle with two others, in rising floodwater, appliances from Liskeard and Bodmin were mobilised as well as specialist water rescue appliances from St. Austell and Bude, on arrival at the scene two persons were out of the vehicle, Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel proceeded to rescue one further person from the vehicle. The casualties were transported to the Jamaica Inn to liase with ambulance crews to monitor them and carry out checks. Police and the Highways have been contacted to close the Draynes Valley area at this time.
