Chimney Fire

One appliance from Bodmin attended a report of a fire involving the chimney in a domestic property. On inspection the crew believed the fire had breached the chimney as there was smoke logging in the upstairs bedroom and attic space. Firefighters requested a further crew to attend because of the possible breach. Crews used a stirrup pump, chimney rods, two ladders and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
