Several calls were received to Fire Control reporting a very large fire behind trees alongside the Sticker bypass. One appliance from St Austell attended to investigate and found a very large unattended bonfire, measuring approximately fifteen metres by fifteen metres. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire which had become deep seated. There are no further details available regarding this incident.
