On receipt of this call both appliances from Liskeard and one appliance from Saltash were mobilised, on arrival the crews found a farmhouse well alight and requested a further appliance and a water carrier, one appliance from Callington and the water carrier from Devon & Somerset were mobilised as well as the command support unit from Launceston and operational support unit from St. Austell.
The fire involves a detached farmhouse measuring approximately twenty metres by ten metres, the ground floor was well alight and had spread to the first floor, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using high pressure hosereel jets and main jets at the scene.

Update 1600 hours: Good progress is being made at this time. Firefighters wearing brething apparatus are still committed at the incident using main jets and high pressure hosereels, water is being fed to the incident being pumped from open water.

Update 1700 hours: Good progress is being made, the fire is believed extinguished, crews damping down hot spots.
