On receipt of this call appliances from Bodmin and Lostwithiel also the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised. On arrival at the scene there were found to be three vehicles involved, a total of five people were involved, with one person trapped, firefighters used crash rescue equipment at the scene to remove the casualty from the vehicle, other casualties were treated by fire personnel with oxygen therapy and first aid until the arrival of ambulance personnel. The incident affected both lanes of the A38 which was closed. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were in attendance.
