At 13:40 a call was received to two caravans on fire at a property near Troon, Camborne. Two appliances from Camborne with ten firefighters and one from Helston with six firefighters were mobilised to the scene. On the crews approach they reported that there was lots of black smoke coming from the area. On the fire services arrival the attendance of a water carried from Helston was made. Two static caravans were well alight on crew’s arrival; the fire had spread to a large shed measuring 15 x 20 metres. At 14:02 fire crews were using two breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one main jet.
Update at 15:22 at this time crews remain on scene tackling the fire.
