Five firefighters from Truro attended a call to a chimney fire involving a wood burner. On crews arrival crews found that the fire involved logs which had been stacked too close to the outside surfaces of the wood burner and caught alight due to contact with the burners hot sides. Fire crews removed the burning logs and used buckets of water to damp the area down.
