One appliance from Lostwithiel attended a report of a chimney fire. Crews found the chimney, in a semi detached domestic property measuring approximately fifteen metres by five metres, to be well alight. Firefighters used a stirrup pump and chimney rods to extinguish the fire and a thermal image camera to ensure that it hadn't spread.
