Two pumping appliances from Falmouth Community Fire Station, with a combined total of 12 firefighters on board, plus a Wholetime Officer, were mobilised in the early hours of this morning, to a call, plus further repeat calls, to a property fire, in Penryn, Falmouth.

On crews' arrival, the terraced domestic property, measuring approximately 5m x 12m contained a fire in the ground floor of the house. Crews wearing 4 x breathing apparatus, and using one hose reel jet and one covering jet tackled the blaze.

All persons were soon accounted for, and to offer support to those affected The British Red Cross Fire & Emergency Support Service vehicle also attended the scene.

Western Power were also asked to attend to deal with an electrical overhead line.

This is all the information that we have on this incident.
