A crew of 6 firefighters from Bude Community Fire Station attended a domestic detached dwelling in Marhamchurch earlier today, where a woodburner's flue was alight.

Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke in the property prior to inspecting the flue.

The flue was soon cleared and the fire extinguished.

The fire was accidental and confined.
