One Mevagissey appliance, who were training in St Austell and one St Austell appliance attended. The first of the crews arrived in less than 4 minutes from the time of call and found that the shop was full of smoke. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus gained access and used one hosereel to extinguish a grill pan that was on fire. The crews then vented the smoke from the premises.
