Six firefighters from Bude attended a call to a property where a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding. On crews arrival the house had been ventilated and the alarm had stopped sounding. On investigation crews found that there was a broken flue pipe from an cooking appliance which was allowing fumes from the appliance back into the property. The cooker was isolated and occupants advised to have the flue fixed before reigniting it.
