Highway Maintenance Vehicle On Fire

Five fire firefighters from St Austell attended a call to a fire involving a highways maintenance vehicle. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Police were requested to attend to assist fire crews with closing the road and traffic control. The cause of the fire is believed to have been a blown turbo.
