Fire In Basement of Building.

Fire and Rescue Appliances from Penzance, St Just and Hayle were mobilised along with a wholetime officer to reports of smoke issuing from a building in Tolver Place. Crews discovered a fire in the basement of adjoining outbuilding of the larger premise . Four breathing apparatus and two hosereels were used to extinguish the fire and prevented it from spreading. Crews remain on scene. The cause is believed arson and details have been passed to Devon and Cornwall Police. There are no further details.
