Ten firefighters on two appliances from Callington and a specialist Hazardous Materials officer attended a call to a large industrial fridge leaking refrigerant gas. The store with the leak was evacuated and crews inspected the scene and gathered information on the gas involved. The gas was identified as it left a white material spraying from the top of the refrigerator. Due to the nature of the incident Firefighters were unable to make the scene safe but they remained on scene ensuring no persons re-entered the property until specialist servicing engineers were in attendance to stem the leak. There are no more details available on this incident.
