Hoax Call

Mabe Burnthouse, Penryn at 24/04/2015 19:49

2 fire appliances and a wholetime officer were mobilised after a 999 call was received from a property in Penryn, a child was heard stating that their house was on fire before hanging up. On arrival crews found there to be no fire, and the call was in fact a hoax. During this time, 2 fire engines and a wholetime officer were not available to respond to other incidents.

Have you taught your child about the dangers of making hoax calls?
