Small Fire In Lounge

Two pumping appliances from Newquay Community Fire Station, plus a wholetime officer, attended a reported lounge curtains fire in the Tretherras area of Newquay earlier this evening.
The fire, in the terraced two storey 15 metre x 5 metre property, appeared to be out on crews' arrival. However this was thoroughly investigated using a thermal imaging camera and small gear.
The fire was accidental and confined.
