Five firefighters from Penzance and six from St Just attended a call to a tractor barn on fire. Smoke was issuing from the 5 x 20 metre barn on firefighters arrival. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a safety jet in use on the fire; a thermal imaging camera was also used on scene. The fire involved a work bench in the shed and within 20 minutes of the first crews arrival the fire was confirmed as out. Electricity to the property was isolated and crews monitored hot spots once the fire was out to ensure it did not reignite.
