Crews from Redruth and Camborne attended a lorry fire in a cafe car park, when crews arrived they found the lorry was well alight, crews tackled the blaze using 2 sets of breathing apparatus and 2 hosereels. A nearby lorry was also made safe as it was slightly damaged by fire.

Further update at 0705 hrs: WM Mortimore from Camborne Fire Station advises us that the driver of the lorry had a lucky escape as he was sleeping in his cab when the fire started and was awoken and alerted by a fellow lorry driver advising him that his lorry was on fire. Luckily all concerned are safe and well.
