On receipt of this call from the Ambulance Service, stating that a person who had been working on a vehicle had become trapped underneath it, one appliance from Lostwithiel and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival at the scene the crew confirmed that one person was trapped, crews proceeded to release the casualty. The air ambulance and land ambulance were in attendance, the casualty was transferred to hospital by land ambulance, crews were delayed making the vehicle safe.
