Both appliances from Newquay were mobilised to this incident, on arrival crews found there to be a fire involving a freezer, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a CO2 extinguisher and a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire which was in a first floor flat, the positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the property. An ambulance was requested to treat two occupants suffering the effects of smoke inhilation.
