On receipt of this call, both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised, on arrival the crew found a large quantity of rubbish alight and had spread to an adjacent building, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a main jet and high pressure hosereel jet at the scene, forced entry was made to the single storey commercial premises and a propane gas cylinder which had been involved in the fire was removed to open air and cooled. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police attended and will be making further enquiries.
