Disposable Bar-b-que Spreads To Caravan Awning

Ten firefighters on two appliances from Newquay and Perranporth attended a call to a camp site at Hendra Croft to a caravan with its awning on fire. On arrival crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire which had spread from a disposable bar-b-que to decking and then the awning. An ambulance was requested to treat a female occupant of the caravan suffering smoke inhalation.
