Following a call to a gas cylinder leak, at a caravan park, in Connor Downs, a crew of 5 firefighters from Camborne, Pool and Redruth (CPR) Community Fire Station were mobilised to attend the scene.

Upon the crew’s arrival, one 6kg propane gas cylinder had already been removed to the open air, to a safe location by the owner of the park. Once the crew had investigated the caravan and surrounding area to ensure the whole site was safe, confirmed that the cylinder had almost completely discharged. They then allowed it to vent off naturally.
