Several repeat calls were received by Fire Control at just before 4am this morning, alerting to a car fire in Roskilling Wartha, Helston.
A crew of 6 firefighters from Helston Community Fire Station were mobilised, and upon their arrival found that the car was well alight. The crew used two breathing apparatus at stage one and two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze – then used crash rescue equipment to open the car bonnet to get to the engine, to completely extinguish the fire.
The cause is unknown.
