Two Vehicle Road Traffic Collision
Tregolls Road, Truro at 04/06/2015 07:00
A crew of 5 firefighters in a pumping appliance from Truro Community Fire Station, plus the rescue tender from the new Camborne Pool & Redruth Community Fire Station, also with 5 firefighters on board, and a wholetime officer, were mobilised to a two vehicle road traffic collision, with initial reports that two persons were trapped, at the top of Tregolls Road this morning.
The Truro crew got to the scene in a few minutes and established that the rescue tender was not required to assist on this occasion, so this was stood down.
Two people were assisted by the firefighters from their vehicles and left in the care of Westcountry Ambulance Service, and the crew then made both vehicles safe.
Police and ambulance were also in attendance.
