On receipt of this call stating that an amount of chemicals had spilled, one appliance from St. Marys was mobilised, on arrival the crew ensured that the area was cordoned off, further advice was supplied by Specialist Officers who attended Fire Control in Truro, further resources attended from St. Martins, crews used gas tight suits and breathing apparatus to contain the spill.

Update 1700 hours: A total of six firefighters wearing gas tight suits were involved in the cleaning up of the substance, the spillage has been contained and covered with a dry agent and transferred into containment drums.
