Crews on St Austell Fire station assisted removing a metal ring which had become stuck in the animals mouth. The owner had not been able to remove the ring themselves and so had brought the springer spaniel to the station for assistance. Fire fighters removed the metal ring using bolt croppers to snip the ring open, releasing the dog was unharmed.
