Two fire appliances from Penzance Fire Station were mobilised to this incident after Fire Control received a call to a fire in a downstairs flat. The female occupant was safely out of the building and with a neighbour. The fire was out on arrival and crews ventilated the property, but there was smoke damage throughout and fire damage in the living room. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
