Eleven firefighters on two appliances from Newquay attended a call to a statis caravan on fire near Porth. Crews attending the incident reported a large plume of smoke coming from the fire on their approach. On arrival the caravan was well alight and crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels. The gas and electricity to the caravan was isolated and a hydrant was used to shuttle water to the scene.
