Appliances from Truro and Falmouth Fire Station along with a Wholetime Officer responded to a call reporting the sound of a smoke alarm from a neighbouring property, smoke was then reported to be seen inside with one person believed to still be in the building. On arrival crews discovered a small fire in the kitchen that was out prior to their arrival and one casualty suffering the effects of smoke inhalation. Fire and Rescue Personnel administered first aid and then handed the casualty over into the care of the Ambulance Service. No further details are available.
