One appliance from Launceston, one from Callington and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin Fire Stations attended this incident. The road traffic collison involved one car and an articulated lorry. On arrival the crews found one casualty out of one vehcile and being treated by paramedics and one walking wounded casualty also being treated by paramedics. The firefighters used creash rescue equipment to release a third casualty trapped in the vehicle and then assisted ambulance with stabilising the stretcher and conveyed to the air ambulance.
