Fire In Cooker

A neighbour alerted Fire Control to a smoke alarm sounding in a neighbouring property. One appliance from St Austell and one appliance from St Dennis with a toatl of 10 firefighters attended. On arrival crews found that food had been left in a cooker and the occupant had gone out, fortunately the fire was out on their arrival and they carried out an inspection to make sure all was safe. There are no further details for this incident.
