Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service, Devon & Cornwall Police and the Environment Agency have worked together to extinguish a large bonfire.
The initial incident took place on Friday 3rd July in which resources from Helston Community Fire Station attended, the initial fire was extinguished using two hose reels and a main jet.
On Saturday 4th July, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service were made aware of some members of the crew from Helston Community Station who were feeling unwell. As a precautionary measure and information from the Ambulance Service they were advised to go to Hospital. The personnel who attended hospital were allowed to go home after being assessed and checked. The fire investigation is ongoing therefore no further details are available at this time.
