Road Traffic Collision
near Stoketon Cross, Saltash at 09/07/2015 18:07
Two pumping appliances from Saltash Community Fire Station with a total of 9 firefighters, and one rescue tender from Bodmin Community Fire Station, with a crew of 5 firefighters on board, attended a road traffic collison involving a coach, with, fortunately, just the driver on board, and a large commercial goods vehicle with a driver and one passenger, on board.
The driver of the coach stepped off his vehicle, however the driver and passenger in the large goods vehicle were needing assistance, by the fire service, to be released from theirs. Both those casualties were then left in the care of Westcountry Ambulance Service.
Crews then continued to make the vehicles and scene safe.
Police were also in attendance.
