An appliance from Bodmin Community Fire Station, plus their hi-lux support vehicle - with a total of 8 crew over the two vehicles, attended an animal rescue earlier this evening, following a call from its concerned owner.

The chihuahua had got stuck down a rabbit hole, and after liaising with the owner, crews used small tools which gained them better access and they managed then to retrieve the small dog from the hole, safely into the arms of its owner.
