Five firefighters on one appliance from Truro attended a call to a car on fire on the A390. The vehicle was well alight on the arrival of crews, two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets were used to tackle the fire along with crash rescue equipment used to gain entry to the engine compartment. Firefighters made the vehicle safe once the fire had been extinguished.
