At 1909 the Brigade were alerted to a fire at St Mawes CP School. 2 crews from St Mawes were quickly on scene and found the cause of the fire was a waste paper bin in one of the classrooms. This affected the electrics and Western Power were called to assist. Crews ventilated the school and returned to their station by 2045. Crews from Mevagissey and Truro were also alerted but not required on scene.
