On receipt of this call, two appliances from Truro were mobilised to the incident. On arrival there was found to be a fire in the ground floor of a detached property. Teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained for a considerable time damping down and venting the property.
